Intune Win32 App Deployment Failed. Not Applicable

This is a Co-Managed environment. The Client App Workload was set to Configuration Manager. When attempting to deploy the SCCM client during autopilot as a win32 or LOB(Line of Business) app, it was failing to run. It’s also worth mentioning it’s being enforced during the Enrollment Status Page). When checking the status of the application deployment in Intune, it would say “Not Applicable”

Error Later Filpped to failed for different reason.

This usually happens when the workload doesn’t belong to Intune, or the application doesn’t meet certain requirements. In this case, workloads were not set correctly.

We set the client app workload to Pilot Intune, and created a separate collection for it. After that, the LOB app was running as expected during autopilot.

Whenever you’re in a co-managed environment, ensure workloads reflect what you want to see happen.
