Now comes the fun part. Here we are

Once pre-requisites are filled, the Windows 365 blade lights up within your Intune Tenant. Until then, it’s just a landing page.

Let’s go ahead and create our on prem connection to our lab

Let’s populate it with all the information from our previous notes where we created the vnet

The next screen wants your on prem active directory information

OU is optional, so it will just dump the machine in my default Computers Container. If you do want to specify an OU it needs to be in CN format.

Give things one more look. Then click Review + Create.

We will let it sit for a bit and come back to it!

Looks like we passed the checks with some warnings

It seems Azure AD Device Sync hasn’t happened yet. We will proceed. (After waiting an hour, the error cleared)

Now let’s do our Provisioning Policy.

Give it a name and select our previously created on prem network connection. Click Next.

Now let’s select image type. No Custom images at the moment, so let’s select a Gallery Image.

We will select the 20H2 Win10 Enterprise + M365 Apps Image.

Click Next.

I have a test group created with the single test user I’m using for this. Select it, then click next.

Give everything a final look, and click Create.

And here it is

Voila

Here is the desktop

The Device is Hybrid Joined and Intune Enrolled!

Until next time.
